The Governor of Baja California, Marina del Pilar Ávila, endorsed her commitment to strengthen investments and provide legal certainty to companies that wish to expand or install manufacturing projects in the state.

During a meeting with representatives of the Vesta company, the president was informed of the construction of a new industrial park in the municipality of Tijuana, which will translate into employment and well-being for the people.

The owner of Vesta, Lorenzo Dominique Berho, reported that there are six buildings with an area of approximately one million square feet that will be developed in the south of the municipality of Tijuana, with an investment of 107 million dollars.

In this sense, Marina del Pilar highlighted the importance that companies believe in Baja California and in the efficiency of its government to generate not only employment but also wealth and economic development, which translate into a better quality of life for families.

"Current geopolitics makes us a reference for investment, and that is exactly what we are doing: innovate, which is a risky activity but it is a greater risk not to do it," he said.

For her part, Adriana Eguía, vice president of the company, recognized the will of the Baja California government to encourage new investments and collaborate directly with private initiative, so the interest in betting on the entity is strengthened.

It should be noted that Vesta has been present in the state for 17 years, in which it has grown due to the potential and dynamism that this territory has, becoming the company with the most presence in the entity in terms of industrial buildings.

Berho added that Mexico and Baja California in particular have become ideal spaces to enter the United States market and in particular the state of California, one of the most important economies in the world.
