The European company Ikano Group, owner of Ikano Industry, will build its first production plant in Mexico, through a green loan granted by HSBC Mexico. The facility will be built in Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila, to make mattresses and sofas for IKEA stores in North America.

This headquarters will be the third of Ikano Industry, IKEA supplier, in the world and will begin operating in the second quarter of 2021. While the construction will have the LEED Gold certification, due to the degree of sustainability that it will incorporate in its various processes.
