The automotive company Xinquan México Automotive Trim laid the first stone of its new plant in Aguascalientes, which represents a direct investment of 40 million dollars and the creation of 150 direct jobs.

The company of Chinese origin specializes in the manufacture of high-end automotive components, being one of the main suppliers for this niche worldwide.

The Xinquan Mexico factory will be located in the San Francisco IV Industrial Park, in the municipality of San Francisco de los Romo. The complex will settle on a land with a total area of 27,576 square meters, in which corporate offices, a manufacturing warehouse, warehouses, maintenance workshops, cafeteria services and boarding areas will be installed. In its first stage, 12,500 square meters will be built, including 2,500 of offices.

The company pointed out that Aguascalientes is an ideal destination to expand its operations thanks to its strategic location, the availability of qualified labor, the supply of the region and the security conditions that exist in the entity, which are a key factor for continue to encourage new investments.

According to Solili, in Aguascalientes at the end of 1Q 2021, in terms of the leasing activity, approximately 15 thousand square meters were occupied by a company specialized in the manufacture of car interiors, strengthening the automotive cluster in the market and the specialization for this industry in Aguascalientes.

The Aguascalientes Norte submarket at the end of March this year, stood out for its construction start figure reaching 60 thousand square meters, being the highest in 1Q 2021 at the national level and thanks to the arrival of companies such as Xiquan Mexico, it was expects these figures to continue with a positive behavior.
