German company of automotive technology will invest 90 million dollars in Mexico

This year, Robert Bosch will invest $ 90 million in various manufacturing projects where he will implement 4.0 technology.

Among them, digitization projects at the Toluca plant, new manufacturing lines at the Mexicali and Hermosillo plants; as well as the implementation of the three-axis network motion control system for the production of auto parts.

Consolidated sales to third parties in the national territory amounted to 579 million dollars, 23% less compared to 2019, but this year, sales are recovering.

At a press conference, René Schlegel, president of Bosch Mexico said that 2019 was an excellent year for the company and there is a possibility that in 2021, sales will return to the levels of 2019.

Bosch's four business sectors in Mexico: mobility solutions, industrial technology, durable consumer goods, as well as energy and construction technology were classified as essential activities, which has allowed them to operate their 12 manufacturing plants with reduced capacity throughout this pandemic period.

In terms of leasing, according to Solili, at the end of April 2021 at the national level, it closed positively with a total industrial demand of 450 thousand square meters, which places it above what was reported in 2020. Industrial leasing it continues to be booming and showing signs of growth.
