Although the pandemic implied challenges in the construction of the property due to the shortage of materials, this was not the case for the company, which has experienced exponential growth of 50% in the last two years.
The new complex, built on a 20,000 m2 plot, has a 15,000 m2 storage area with a capacity for 8,300 pallets to be placed in 11-meter-high racks and 27,000 shelving shelves. In addition, it has a storage area for refrigerated, frozen and deep-frozen biologicals with a capacity of 682 cubic feet, which is equivalent to 19,300 liters.
Also, it houses three accredited calibration laboratories, a technical service workshop, offices and training rooms.

Previously, El Crisol carried out this activity from Mexico City, however, faced with logistics problems, the company decided to build the Cedis in the state of Querétaro.
"In the short term, it will offer its infrastructure and installed capacity to other companies in the business to create a 3PL (or outsourced logistics) in the management of laboratory supplies," said Camargo.
Likewise, he said that the installation of laboratory equipment manufacturers is expected, to whom they will provide their 3PL services. He revealed that, although 98% of the operation is national, El Crisol will seek to expand its export market.
