The international logistics company DHL Express Mexico announced the investment of 120 million dollars (mdd) for the expansion and automation of its Domestic Air Operations Center (HUB), located at the Querétaro International Airport (AIQ).

With this new investment, the HUB located in Querétaro will be the largest of DHL Express in Latin America and will generate 200 new highly specialized jobs.

The CEO of DHL Express Mexico, Antonio Arranz Lara, reaffirmed that, with the expansion and automation, the HUB will be the most advanced in Latin America, which will have 30,000 square meters and will process 41,000 pieces per hour.

Therefore, Arranza Lara pointed out that with this action, DHL is committed to staying in Querétaro and Mexico for the next 20 years; He stressed that the people who will manage this fully automated HUB will be Mexicans who will be trained next year.

For his part, the governor of Querétaro, Mauricio Kuri González, affirmed that, with this action, the confidence of the German capital group is renewed in the conditions of certainty offered by the state and that it consolidates it as one of the main logistics destinations of the center of the country.

"The only thing we are doing is doing our job, which is giving you the conditions so that you do very well and that in this way you can continue to provide work, so far this year we have close to 20,000 jobs," added the president. state.
