Denso Autopartes opens a new plant in Guanajuato

Denso Autopartes remains firm with its confidence in the Mexican industry, which is why it opened its fourth plant in Mexican territory.

In this plant, the automotive windshield wiper systems will be manufactured.
This new factory is located in the Castro del Río Industrial Park, in Irapuato, Guanajuato, becoming the second plant in this region; Since the Japanese company was established in these lands since May 28, 2014 in Silao, in Guanajuato Puerto Interior (GPI).

The Japanese company has a plant in Apodaca, Nuevo León, which has around 4,500 employees, where they produce a range of more than seven products for their various business units.

According to Solili, at the end of 1Q 2021, construction activity in Guanajuato focused on tailor-made projects, highlighting the expansion of a company dedicated to the manufacture of automotive interior mechanisms on the San Miguel de Allende-San corridor. José Iturbide, and on Silao-León began the construction of speculative spaces.

During the first quarter of the year, the industrial inventory of Guanajuato had an increase of more than 50 thousand square meters, of which about 30 thousand square meters correspond to tailor-made projects that began construction in 2020, the corridor being Silao- León where most of them were concentrated.
