The governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo, commented that in January 2022 the first stone will be laid for the series production plant of the Halcón 2, the 100% Guanajuato and Mexican aircraft.

These statements were made during the Aerospace Summit 4.0, which takes place on December 1 and 2.

He indicated that the aerospace industry sets the example and has shown that the path is the commitment to innovation and mind-billing, where the Aerospace Cluster of Guanajuato is a clear example of the spirit of improvement, determination and character that a cluster has in the state forward-thinking, he stressed.

He also commented that the companies that make up the aerospace cluster in the state are pioneers and visionaries, because they have been able to take advantage of opportunities and have integrated into high-level value chains.

It was detailed that the Aerospace Summit event is organized by the Guanajuato Aerospace Cluster, in collaboration with the Government of the State of Guanajuato, the Foreign Trade Promotion Coordinator (Cofoce), Idea GTO and Industrial Transformation México.

It is a space dedicated to industries seeking business and investment opportunities in this sector; Some 600 visitors are expected, as well as 150 special guests and representatives.
