Industrial building construction in Mexicali decreased by 60% compared to March 2025

At the end of March 2026, industrial construction activity in Mexicali stood at 38,000 square meters, representing a 60% drop compared to the same month last year.

The market shows 100% availability in projects currently under construction, which include areas ranging from 16,000 to 25,000 square meters.

The Mexicali industrial market has shown a reduction in the launch of new projects, as a result of the slowdown in the pace of leasing during 2025.

During Q1 2026, industrial leasing activity in Mexicali reached 37,000 square meters, starting the year with an optimistic outlook by tripling the volume recorded in the same period of the previous year.
