CloudHQ will build its first data center campus in Querétaro

The company CHQ Development S de RL de CV, better known as CloudHQ, announced that it will invest 3.6 billion dollars to build the first data center campus in the country, and its destination is the municipality of Colón, in Querétaro.

CloudHQ is a company that has 12 data center campuses around the world, and is carrying out a strategic expansion in Mexico. The construction of six data center buildings is planned, each with an IT load power capacity of up to 48MW.

This investment not only represents a commitment to the latest generation technological infrastructure in Mexico, but also has great potential for job creation and the development of local industry.

This property will have an area of 518,470 square meters and will be located on State Highway 100, it will be the site where CloudHQ will establish its data center campus, which will be called 'Data Center Colón'.

The project will be carried out in two stages, spanning from October 2023 to September 2033. In addition to the $3.6 billion investment, the data center campus is expected to generate more than 600 full-time jobs and another 1,250 jobs long-term storms, which represents a significant boost to the local economy.
