
According to figures from Solili, Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua remained in fourth position nationwide in industrial demand in 2021. Among border entities, it was only surpassed by Monterrey and Tijuana.
In the first two months of 2021, an occupation of 51 thousand square meters of industrial buildings was registered, that is, 8% of the demand in the country.
The city closed with 612 thousand square meters occupied and the main industries that drove demand were manufacturing, logistics, automotive, medical, plastics, electronics and shelters.

The portal highlighted that the Taiwanese firm Inventec invested 300 million dollars in the construction of its new industrial complex. This acquisition was added to the plant they own in the south of the city and maintains it as the company that most demands industrial spaces in the area. .
After this project, it was also considered the company that invested the most in Cd. Juárez in the construction and occupation of industrial buildings in 2021.
At present, 300,000 square meters are being built in just 17 industrial buildings in the town, mainly speculative.

Of these, about 124 thousand square meters of spaces ranging from 5.3 to 20.8 thousand square meters are available.

Finally, both Ciudad Juárez and Monterrey, Reynosa and Saltillo obtained industrial leases above the national average.
