Demand for industrial space continues in Ciudad Juárez

Ciudad Juárez ranks fourth in terms of inventory quantity nationwide, below Mexico City, Monterrey and Tijuana.

With its 6.3 million square meters, this dynamic border city does not slow down its pace of construction where currently more than 3% of its inventory is built, motivated by scarce availability, one of the lowest in the nation.

Another trigger has been the demand that has run its course mainly in the cities of the north of the country, among them Ciudad Juárez, where logistics, manufacturing and automotive companies continue to be the engine that drives these markets.

Regarding the geographical distribution, the 5 corridors of the city have been very active and with similar numbers, which denotes a homogeneous distribution.

Ciudad Juárez also stands out as one of the markets with the highest rental activity nationwide, where only in the first two months of the year demand exceeded 130 thousand square meters, with logistics and manufacturing companies that have absorbed the largest number of industrial space.

On the other hand, the average rental price remains slightly above the national average, although it reflected a downward adjustment since December 2020, closing as of February 4.35 dollars per square meter per month.
