4G Ingeniería, a pioneering Mexican company in the metal-mechanical sector with an international presence, celebrated the inauguration of its Plant II Guanajuato on June 21, which includes an Engineering and Design Center, as well as prototype manufacturing.

Alejandro Hernández Fonseca, Undersecretary of Investment Attraction of the Secretariat of Sustainable Economic Development of Guanajuato, mentioned that the state government seeks to multiply this type of investment with visionary leaders.

The undersecretary reported that the investment made in the second plant of 4G Engineering reaches 12 million pesos, allowing it to join the supply chain of the main automotive companies such as: BMW, General Motors, Honda, Toyota, Ford, Stellanis, Nissan, among other.

4G Ingeniería began working for Tier 3 companies in the automotive industry, then with Tier 2 and Tier 1 companies, until it reached automakers. "During these 22 years, that experience led us to specialize in the manufacture of racks for auto parts, we do everything from design, manufacturing, maintenance, we sell to all the assembly plants in Mexico and several in the United States and we currently have a high percentage of exports," explains Gallardo exclusively for Cluster Industrial.

The company will now be able to give a specific space to its entire engineering team so that they can be creative and independent in providing solutions to their clients. “Once those ideas are transformed into prototypes, they are validated by the client and then they will go to our first plant, plant 1, to manufacture the serial production batches.

Currently the first plant is dedicated solely to manufacturing and here, on plant II, we have the design and prototype center”, explains Jorge Gallardo, General Director of 4G Ingenieria.
