Caxxor Group announced that it will invest 150 million dollars (mdd) for the Logistics and Industrial Center of Durango (CLID), of 405 hectares, where investment studies are currently being carried out.

The works include the development of customs, the strategic fiscal area and the necessary infrastructure to achieve greater interconnection with the current state airport.

All of this will allow CLID to become a world-class multimodal hub, the company said in a statement; the "railway development known as the TMEC Corridor, which this group promotes" is added.

In addition, the firm proposes a railway investment plan for the Mazatlán-Durango railway, in five sections, of which three are in Durango and represent more than two-thirds of the total kilometers of the track.

"For this reason, Durango, together with Sinaloa, are the strategic states for the development of the TMEC Corridor, which in total will add an investment of more than 3 billion dollars," it was indicated.

The company mentioned that more companies are interested in establishing themselves in the CLID, so that in the short term the number of participants in the center would double.
