Canadevi estimates the construction of 166,268 homes in 2021

The National Chamber of the Housing Development and Promotion Industry (Canadevi) estimated that housing production during 2021 will amount to 166,268 units. Which represents a difference of 0.3% to that estimated by the Unique Housing Registry (RUV), which was 165 thousand 713 homes.

According to the predictions of both organizations, the month with the highest housing production this year will be November, with 16,276 units, according to the RUV; and 15,826, according to Canadevi.

In quarterly terms, the Chamber estimates that production would be distributed as follows: 37,121 units in the first quarter (1Q2021); 40 thousand 349 in 2Q2021; 43,016 in 3Q2021; and 45,782 in 4Q2021.

In addition, Canadevi stressed that the state that will dominate the production of housing will be Nuevo León, with a participation of 15.9%, which is equivalent to 26,452 units. Followed by Jalisco, with 10.7% participation and 17,827 units; and Quintana Roo, with 6.6% participation and 11,007 homes built.
