CADU, a housing developer in Mexico listed on the local stock exchange, has developed more than 23 thousand homes with sustainable attributes, thus becoming one of the companies in the sector that has registered the most homes under the ECOCASA program of the Mortgage Society. Federal.

With this amount of units built, it records a 30% share in this housing development market focused on energy saving and environmental conservation; reducing Greenhouse Gas Emissions (GHG) by up to 40%.

“Under the ECOCASA program, sustainable homes seek to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by between 20% and 40%. At CADU we continue with our commitment to the environment by managing a second certification of our homes under the EDGE program of the International Finance Corporation ”, the company indicated.

Following this line, at the end of 2020, it issued its first green bond certified by the Climate Bond Initiative, which was the first in the housing sector in Mexico and Latin America.

In addition, in that same year, the home developer obtained the Prime Certification in Corporate Governance and in 2021 the Environmental Finance Award, “Green Project Bond of the Year” Award.

In the first nine months of this year, the company's revenues grew 12.1%, going from 2,104 million in the period of 2020 to 2,359 million pesos.

The housing company has indicated that during the third quarter of this year it continued to strengthen its financial position, even amid the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

CADU continued to deploy the strategy mainly aimed at encouraging the generation of cash flow through the deed of finished housing inventory; decrease debt; and to preserve an adequate level of liquidity.
