
The Italian multinational Brembo, leader in the manufacture of disc brakes for vehicles, will open a new plant in the state of Nuevo León next year. Accompanied by Roberto Vavassori, a member of the Brembo board of directors, the state president recognized the company for trusting in the entity's potential to expand.
He also pointed out that talks with the company will continue to strengthen ties and learn in detail about the projects that will benefit the state of Nuevo León in terms of investment and employment.

"We are very happy, very good news for the coming year in Nuevo León, especially in the automotive and energy industry," declared García Sepúlveda. “What they are doing with the brakes and with the new digital brake systems is incredible,” he added.
The Governor of Nuevo León, Samuel Alejandro García Sepúlveda; and the Secretary of Economy, Iván Rivas Rodríguez, toured the Brembo facilities to learn about the manufacturing processes for disc brakes.

The Italian multinational has been operating in Nuevo León since 2015, and its plant in the Industrial Park in Escobedo has 1,150 workers. It should be noted that the plant in the municipality of Apodaca is in the process of expansion.
After the meeting with Brembo executives, the state president will meet with executives from Promos, the Chamber of Commerce of Milan, Monza, Brianza and Lodi, Assolombarda and UCIMU.
