The new BorgWarner plant in San Luis Potosí covers 27,000 square meters of the 64,000 square meters of land where the plant will be located and will focus on the manufacture of electric motors, power electronic components and electronic circuits for electric vehicles, including models such as the Ford E-Transit and the Mustang Mach-E and is expected to start operations in the second quarter of 2024.
BorgWarner has a manufacturing plant in San Luis Potosí, located in the Tres Naciones phase 1 industrial park, which is 100% dedicated to the assembly of integrated electric drive units (iDM) for global OEM clients, as well as components for eMotors. The current production is destined for both the national and international markets.
