Bharat Forge opens new auto parts plant in Nuevo León

The Government of Nuevo León (NL) announced that the firm Bharat Forge Limited of India has future plans to invest in the entity in an auto parts plant, although it did not detail the amount for now. 

The foregoing was made known after a meeting between Amit Kalyani, General Director of Bharat Forge Limited, with the entity's governor, Samuel García.

According to a statement from the state government, the company Bharat Forge Limited is a leader in different sectors such as automotive, railway, aerospace, maritime, energy, construction, mining, among others. “We had a meeting with a businessman from India, from Bombay; and he is about to arrive in NL to open his auto parts factory”, said García.

Likewise, the governor held a meeting with Pierre-Dimitri Gore-Coty, senior vice president of the Uber Delivery Department, to whom he presented the Mobility Master Plan that is being implemented in the state.

The Mobility Master Plan is based on four axes: Decent Transportation, Intelligent Mobility, Complete Streets and Regional Connectivity. He was also present at a panel with the participation of Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft.

The Governor of the state and coordinator of the International Affairs Commission of the Conago, affirmed that these international work tours are of the utmost importance for the country and for Nuevo León.

“We also have to come to promote Mexico, in my case as Coordinator of the Conago International Affairs Commission; and obviously as Governor of Nuevo León, to show off everything we are doing,” he said.
