With an investment of 80 million dollars, the company Becton Dickinson and Company will build its third plant in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua.

According to the statement, this new plant will optimize the product processing network, ensuring efficient distribution to distribution centers in the United States and Europe.

Likewise, it is important to note that its construction will begin in August of this year and will end in September 2024. Subsequently, it will take around 20 months to classify the processes, register it and obtain the necessary approvals, to start regular operations in May 2026.

Maru Campos, governor of the state, assured that both nearshoring and foreign investment in general is a factor of great stability that provides economic growth and "well" paid formal jobs, through a comprehensive model of attraction and detonation of investments, management energy, education and talent development.

In this sense, he stressed that Becton's investment will generate more jobs, which are added to the more than 1,300 workers that already exist.
