With an initial investment of 125 million pesos (mdp) for its first stage, Banregio is building a new corporate building: Back Office II. The corporate building, located in San Nicolás de los Garza, Nuevo León, will be completed within 24 months.

The headquarters has the objective of specifying its areas of mortgage, insurance, card, automotive, collection and adjudicated real estate, among others, where it plans to allocate a total of approximately 660 million pesos.

According to bank executives, the corporate financing is with its own resources. “This project is supported by a capital investment, with resources from our group; very well destined because it is for our growth and to give employees a very decent place”, explained Enrique Cisneros, Banregio's assistant general manager of Retail Banking.

According to Manuel Rivero, Regional General Director and CEO of Hey Banco, the property is part of its growth, which will house 1,200 additional jobs that will work next to the Back Office, a property where 1,100 people work.

"As we consolidate and grow our operation and team, it is more important to specify our teams to allow more efficient and collaborative work," said Enrique Navarro, director of Finance and Planning at Banregio.

Back Office II will have collaborative areas inside, that is, with areas for extemporaneous meetings or spaces to work; in addition to spaces focused on recreation and relaxation, for example terraces and roof terraces.
