Real Estate Market | July 21, 2026 |

The Bajío industrial real estate market showed less activity during the first half of 2026. Demand for industrial space and the start of new developments decreased compared to the previous year, reflecting a more cautious environment among companies and investors.

Between January and June of this year, the region absorbed 522,000 square meters of industrial space, representing a 25% drop compared to the same period in 2025. This result demonstrates a slowdown in the dynamism that had characterized the Bajío in recent years as one of the country's main industrial hubs.

The slowdown was also reflected in the construction of new industrial parks and buildings.
