Progress of the office projects announced by the CDMX government in Reform

In order to strengthen the economic development of the Mexican capital and in knowledge of the energizing effect that construction generates in the country, the government of Mexico City authorized the construction of 17 real estate projects that are located on Avenida Reforma and its extension .

Some of them were paralyzed, others are existing buildings of Class B and C that may be modified and others had not yet started work.

The interested parties had to present before July 15 before the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing (SEDUVI) both the urban impact studies, as well as the corresponding urban integration measures.

Of the total projects, seven are located in Colonia Juárez and three more in Colonia Cuauhtémoc. The rest are located in various areas along perhaps what is the most emblematic road in Mexico City. Although all the buildings are located on this road, not all correspond to the same corridor.

Below we indicate the status of some of these projects, especially office projects, which are monitored by the Solili platform.

Torre Reforma Colón, on Reforma 76, follows earthworks for foundations. This mixed-use complex developed by the Sordo Madaleno Group has five towers built in two stages. The corporate net profitable area will have a total of 120 thousand square meters.

Reforma 156, by Fibra Uno, is a Class B building of 15,552 square meters, with 20 levels and standard floors of 768 square meters.

Impera Reforma, on Paseo de la Reforma 336, is under arrest for now, previously it had been suspended. It has 33 thousand 705 square meters of net area and 47 floors.

Paseo Reforma 397 is an existing building classified as Class C of one thousand 80 square meters of net profitable area with 270 square meters of standard plant on 6 floors. Until the end of the month of August we had not had reports of movements, so we hope that they will start soon.

Corporativo Reforma 445 or Torre Aeroméxico, is being held for public consultation. The building will have 30 thousand square meters of net area distributed in 46 stories high. 

Although there is machinery in the area where the building will be erected, it is inactive since reactivation has not been reported.

Downtown Reforma, on Reforma 95, is a mixed-use project of the developer Be grand, it is advancing in steel structure, they go on the 10th floor. With a net area of 35 thousand 133 square meters, with typical plants of 3 thousand 200 square meters and 50 levels.

In general terms, it is expected that during the last quarters of 2021 the earthworks and buildings will continue in their various degrees of progress, giving an important boost not only to construction but also to the urban environment of Reforma towards the northeast that contained all the elements of infrastructure to detonate.
