Office Leasing in Mexico City Increased 20% Year-Over-Year in January 2026

As of the end of January 2026, demand for office space in Mexico City experienced a significant increase, registering a total of 40,000 m² leased, representing a 20% increase compared to the same period of the previous year.

On the other hand, office vacancy in the capital also experienced a 57% increase in January 2026, compared to the same month of the previous year.

The office submarkets that reported the highest vacancy activity were Santa Fe, with 31%, followed by Polanco with 25%. Insurgentes and Bosques each registered 11%.
