The governor of Yucatán, Mauricio Vila Dosal, together with partners from the company Sky Capital, gave the flag to begin the construction process of the multiple acclimatization skyscraper The Sky in the city of Mérida.

The investment for this project exceeds 1,800 million pesos and it will be ready by the end of 2023 if everything goes according to plan.

The building will measure 160 meters and will have 36 floors, in addition to 6 parking levels and 20 elevators that will connect the shopping center with medical offices, restaurants, offices, corporate offices and the terrace.

The tower is designed in relation to the current confinement, says José Enrique Gasque Casares, associate of Sky Capital, since the idea is that 95% of citizens who work remotely can find a space designed to work instead of continuing to combine the spaces private of the house with the public of work.

According to Solili, in Mérida this quarter work began on 4.6 thousand m², highlighting a Class A mixed-use building located on North Cape of 3.2 thousand m², which reinforces the potential of this development pole for the immediate future, with signs clear start of work for the next quarter of 9.4 thousand m² of Class A developments.
