La Jornada/ Solili | March 19, 2021 |

The capital's Congress approved the Vallejo 2020-2050 Partial Urban Development Program, which proposes a series of projects and strategic actions aimed at taking advantage of the potential of the polygon located in the mayor's office of Azcapotzalco to generate the most important industrial cluster in the metropolitan area of the Valley of Mexico and improve the living conditions of its population.

The project will make Vallejo a point for the city's recovery from the economic crisis caused by the health emergency caused by COVID-19 and includes the generation of accessible housing.

The polygon comprises a total area of 685.19 hectares, 1,256 properties in 130 blocks of nine neighborhoods.

To guarantee the right to the urban landscape, a transitional project was added to the original project that for each real estate project requires a percentage of actions to generate or rehabilitate green areas and public space.

Among the projects that are part of the program are the construction of the new industrial park Puerto Interno and Pantaco Logistics Activities Center, with industrial uses, commerce, services and extensive green areas.
