Amazon Mexico and the government of the State of Mexico announced the opening of a new Commercial Distribution Center (Cedis) in Tepotzotlán, State of Mexico, which will mean the creation of more than a thousand jobs.

Amazon has become one of the main allies and a strategic partner for the economic recovery of the entity.

In Mexico alone, it built two shipping centers, a support building and 12 delivery stations, generating more than 1,500 jobs, becoming an important alternative for Mexican companies to continue offering their merchandise through its platform.

Likewise, through a statement, he noted that the construction of the new building is being carried out by the developer Parks, a property provided by the Fibra Uno trust (FUNO).

The State of Mexico ranks third nationally in economic units of the logistics sector, with 2,460, which represent 6.3 percent of the national total, and of which 96% are MSMEs concentrated in Toluca, Tlalnepantla and Cuautitlán Izcalli.

The sector contributes more than 4% of the added value in the entity and, according to the economic censuses of 2019, almost 103 thousand jobs, which represents more than 10% of the sector at the national level.
