Amazon continues to focus its bet on Nuevo León, announcing the opening of a new charging station in Guadalupe, with which it completes an investment of more than $1,500 million pesos and the generation of 800 direct and one thousand indirect jobs.
Through projects like this, the government continues to break records in all economic indicators, said Samuel García Sepúlveda, governor of Nuevo León.
The Amazon Shipping Center in Apodaca has an area of 21,000 square meters and has the capacity to store almost two million products of different sizes.

In April of this year, the company opened the first Amazon Recruitment Center in Mexico, located in Apodaca, and recently started operations at its third Delivery Station, in Guadalupe.
Amazon's investments in Nuevo León will go to infrastructure and compensation for employees through a Shipping Center, three Delivery Stations and a Recruitment Center.

“Because of its proximity to the United States and an excellent mobility infrastructure, Nuevo León is an excellent logistics hub for the region. We are excited that Amazon will continue its expansion in the entity,” added Iván Rivas, State Secretary of the Economy.
Supporting entrepreneurs from small and medium-sized businesses is another way in which Amazon contributes to the development of Nuevo León. Currently, globally, more than 60% of Amazon sales come from third-party sellers, almost all of them SMEs.
