The possibility of converting office buildings into clinics is still present in the Mexican market, even in the midst of the scenario where private hospitals continue to be built at different socioeconomic levels, and a few public ones, according to a review by the Regional Director of Projects and Developments for Latin America of JLL, Arturo Bañuelos.

In a conversation he had with Mariel Zúñiga from En Concreto Contigo, he indicated that more attractive rentals are being presented than many years ago and in very interesting areas.

He explained that having little oversupply, they have analyzed some office projects not for hospitals, “but for outpatient surgery clinics you have triple A buildings with all the needs. (parking, amenities) that could have a clinic and the possibility of converting them is being considered.”
