Toray Advanced Textile, a Japanese firm dedicated to the manufacture of fibers for the production of auto airbags, starts operations in its new plant in El Salto Jalisco in which it invested 80 million dollars.
The industrial warehouse will be a source of employment for 173 workers, and will have the capacity to produce around 10 thousand tons of nylon fibers per year, and it will also manufacture the textile that will be sent to the manufacturers of air bags manufacturing in the automotive industry. This will be the first factory of the Japanese group dedicated to the production of airbags, which is a market that grows at an annual rate of 8.1 percent, and is estimated to reach revenues by 29.7 billion dollars by 2020, according to data from the Transparency Market Research market analysis firm.
