PAM Transport consolidates operations in Nuevo Laredo

The COVID-19 pandemic triggered the demand in Mexico for more industrial spaces for logistics and distribution centers.

This is in addition to the entry into force of the trade agreement between Mexico, the United States and Canada, which gives greater certainty to the arrival of investments to the country.

In this context, the firm PAM Transport managed to consolidate its operations in the country with an increase of 38 percent, in 2020, in the activities of this company in the national territory.

PAM Transport has invested around 40 million dollars in Mexico, reflected in the acquisition of a crossdock terminal in Nuevo Laredo Tamaulipas and the purchase of a 40-hectare land for activities with B1 operators.

According to the Solili real estate platform, the industrial market in Tamaulipas, specifically, Reynosa has had a surge in demand for spaces.

Currently, the city has an inventory of 34 million 498 thousand 827 square feet where class B real estate complexes predominate with a total of 19 million 47 thousand 493 square feet at a price of $ 0.33 per square foot per month.

According to an analysis by Solili, the largest inventory in the city is found in the Airport-Puente-Pharr corridor, which has direct road access to the international crossing with the United States, with 17 million 617 thousand 110 square feet and a vacancy of the order 2.6 percent, that is, 455 thousand square feet.
