Nemak, provider of innovative solutions for the automotive industry, is investing about 150 million dollars in two machining plants that are already in operation and in another one that is being built in the municipality of Garcia, Nuevo Leon, said Armando Tamez Martinez , general director of the Alfa Group subsidiary.

He explained that Nemak's strategy is to move from the manufacture of monoblocks to the production of structural parts and components for electric aluminum vehicles.

"In the Power Train segment, in optimization of investments and efficiency, we want to have more machining (internal) content that gives us greater added value, "said Tamez Martinez during a visit to the Nemak high pressure aluminum injection (HPDC) plant.
