BTL announces investment of 48 million dollars in plant for Saltillo

The BTL company, specialized in automotive security systems, announced an investment of 48 million dollars to settle in Coahuila.

BTL, of Chinese origin, will be installed in the Derramadero Valley, in the municipality of Saltillo, and will open up multiple opportunities and generate sources of employment.

The company comes to Coahuila due to the trust, security and qualified workforce that it has.

BTL has a capital in the Chinese Market Exchange of 2.5 billion dollars, and its customer base is with all the automotive assemblers in more than 70 countries, which supply from plant in China.

With Saltillo's investment, in its phase 1 it will manufacture aluminum castings for braking and suspension safety systems.

In phase 2 it will be dedicated to automotive electrical parts; He also announced that from the Derramadero Valley plant they will supply their customers in Mexico, the United States and Canada.

According to an analysis by Solili, the industrial market of Saltillo, in Coahuila, closed during the last quarter of 2020 with a vacancy rate of 5.5 percent both for rent or sale, which is a reflection of the stability of the market.
