BBVA seeks to place 30 thousand mortgages and 18 million pesos for housing construction

BBVA Mexico will seek in 2021 to boost the housing sector, for which it will invest 62 billion pesos to promote its development; of the amount, 18 billion pesos will be for the construction of housing through bridge loans, and for the origination of mortgages it will allocate 44 billion pesos that will translate into more than 30 thousand mortgages.

BBVA Mexico highlighted that even in times of uncertainty it is a triggering branch of the national economy.


Currently, in Mexico City there are 9,364 advertisements for the sale of residential real estate with an average size of 116 square meters, according to data collected by the Solili platform, which can be consulted here.

During January, the average sale price of apartments in the capital of the Republic contracted 1.9 percent compared to December 2020 and stood at 7 million 945 thousand 842 pesos.
