The authorized pages of 15,000 applications for traditional loans from the ISSSTE Housing Fund (Fovissste) were released on January 19, 2022.

These financings were given through the 2022 Point System, whose beneficiaries will be able to start their procedures immediately.

This benefit can be used to acquire new or used housing, for individual construction on own land or for the acquisition of land for construction, expansion, repair or improvement. These financings also include the redemption of mortgage liabilities.

The beneficiaries can check if their folios were authorized on the following website of the institution. The remaining applications that have not yet been approved will be authorized later, based on the financial availability of the Housing Fund.

According to the institution, the beneficiaries will have 90 calendar days to choose the authorized housing department or the financial entity that will coordinate the process of granting their credit.

They also have 30 calendar days to sign the public deed. This once the financing is in the "Final Verification" phase.

The Fovissste Credit 2022 program plans to grant up to 58 thousand 731 financings for 39 thousand 538 million 969 thousand 600 pesos.

Of which, under the “Traditional Credit” scheme through the 2022 Point System, it is estimated that up to 37,268 financings will be placed for 23,757,361,897 pesos.
